wooden bottle

Does anyone know what bottle is this ?
On the bottom is russian text. I dont know is the picture coming with
this mail.

Wooden canteen model 1882, top and bottom are made from beech wood and the closure from ash wood.
Height without the closure should be 16,2 cm.
Condition of Your bottle is amazing!

It's a nice to know what it is.
Maybe it's not used at all. I got it from my father.
My father got it in the fifties from old relatives of my family.
