Can anyone give me any History on this unit ?

We had a unit which was named ϟϟ-Feldersatz Battaillon 20 (without the "Estnische" and at first this unit had the number 53). Question is - how could there have been a battalion in another battalion?

Many thanks for your reply , i had thought the unit designation is for Est Flieger Ersatz Batt ? I assumed this must be a Luftwaffe Replacement unit , not a part of the 20th Divison !

Unfortunately I can't comment on Luftwaffe related matters.

This is definately a Luftwaffe tag - Flieger Ersatz Bataillon III (estnische).
I've mentioned the same tag on the first page of this thread but I can't remember where I found the information about it (perhaps from the book "Välgumärgi kasvandikud" by Arvi Tinits but I'm not sure).
