The most obvious reason is that 186. Sicherungsgruppe did not have 1. Hundertschaft (company), it had 23rd 24th company. 1st company was part of the 181. Sicherungsgruppe. I will add a picture of the 185. Sich.Gr. tags with company numbers from 19 to 22 and an authetic 186. Sich.Gr. tag. In the documents I have seen another type of 186 tags been mentioned where company number is also stamped on the tag but I haven't seen any of these in real life, yet.

I am not an expert and the letters looked ligit to me but i didnt knew about the company numbers...so a lesson is learned !! (i will still keep the tag)

Kas keegi on kohanud 288. Politseipataljoni zetooni? Kas on teada, et kas need olid raudplekist, alumiiniumist? Ise tean, et neli sellist zetooni peaksid olema peidetud Pärnumaale, ühe teatud jõe äärde, kivi alla koos muu stuffiga. Kahjuks pole jõudnud seda infot kontrollima minna.

288. Politseipataljoni EM'i kohanud ei ole aga alumiiniumist neid kindlasti ei valmistatud. Mul on olemas 286, 291 ja 292 omad ning need on tsingist ja raudplekist.
