Hi!
Some days ago one my friend from Kurland (Libau) was comming to Riga to make some latvian army stuff deals with me. He also bring some other items. I think three of this items is estonian. About them I have some questions to You.
1) Marine officer visor cap's badge (pict.Nr.1-2). In the middle of badge some emblem is missing.
Badge was found in one old house attics in Libau. Maybe before war Libau was visit marine officer from other country (Estonia?) and present this badge to some latvian marine officer...
Is this badge estonian? It is military or civil marine badge?
2) Estonian badge (pict.Nr.3-5) and estonian medal (pict.Nr.6-7).
That two items was found in one burned bunker in Kurland. Badge was plated by gold.
Which estonian organization's badge it is? Army? Kaitseliit?
I think this medal is very common, but it shows as some estonian volunteers was in Kurland battle (Kurland pocket).
Best regards, KKK
