It means just only thing - sometimes possible to find rare thing for a cheap price. Someone of estonian collectors got some crosses or badges even for free, I'm sure. And even I got some rare items for prices next to nothing, but it doesn't mean what price of that items is "nothig". Isn't it?

Ok, I tought we are talking about the set what you have here, not what is possible to find free and next to nothing - these are two totally different subjects

.
Nowadays ebay is one of the best indicator of the price range - no argue in there - amount of collectors who uses this site daily bases is fenomenal. Even many large online dealers have set up their shops on the site.
Now, emedals has been in the business years and is well known worldwide. Not like many local antiques in many countries, they do their "home work" before they sell anything and as I said, they have lots of experience. They even do have their regular customers who sometimes willing to pay extra just for comfort on the site. Now, we all make mistakes and I do not want to do any advertisement to him - if you look his whole Estonian sale there, you can see that one Latvian award has been listed as Estonian as well (or at least I think it is Latvian

)

.
Next point - awards on the country where they are originaly from are usually more locally collected and desired. As an example I have picked up really cheap English awards from Estonia and let them go 4-30 times higher price to UK collector and vica versa. Also I have spoted undervalued Soviet awards on the European collectors fairs (€10 for Red Stars can't go wrong:)). So, all depend as well where you like to sell. My point is - worldwide known sites do not make this kind of mistakes often and thats why ebay as a price indicator is trustfull. Again, I bought one Estonian related picture that I received yesterday almost for the money then box as yours sold on ebay. So, no mistakes there, even Estonian related items can reach really high!
Kind Regards,
Noor

Mostly, but not always. There's been phenomenon called price bumping at the ebay, which means that seller himself via false account or his friends make biddings to rise up (eg 'bump' up) the price.

And on the contrary, price could be very low if seller did mistake in a title of his auction

As for eBay, there's one very bright example of how the things work on auctions (which many believe to be an accurate way to get the right price for their stuff): I believe it was some 3-5 yrs ago when a guy was very happy to get very rare light blue enameled canteen in mint condition from there for nearly 300 euros. At the same time the other guy was lucky enaugh to buy the same canteen in same condition for just arount 15 euros (including shipping). So I do not believe in auctions much; come on, I've bought some stuff 2-5 times cheaper than I valued it from these myself, probably making sellers not so pleased. Honestly, for me the whole arguing about the price is pointless anyway. Everyone can easily see a lot of stuff offered on different sites over the years with cosmic prices and you'll see the same s**t still available for the same prices after some 10 yrs, too. My experience tells me that there's always room and freedom for some argument about price and selling conditions in private, directly to the seller, and there's absolutely no need to dissect this topic publicly with seller. And last but not least- if someone really desires some thing, the price couldn't be the main criteria for any kind on decision.

That's true.

Ok, - going back to the main question about the price for black Bravery Cross - this nice item was just sold (and rather quickly) with "buy it now" price for 700 euros...

Believe me, condition of my cross is much and much better. I had the opportunity to compare it holding them in my hands.
