Hello,

My work continues and I have now reached K with my lists, in K there are many officers from Estonia. And thanks to you I have found photo the most officers with a familyname on K. But there are some that are impossible to find info on, two of them are

1. - SS-UStuf Elmar Kaiv, DoB 6.7.1921 in Dorpat, DoD 20.5.1998 (where is unknown) he served in 5./S-Frw.Gr.Rgt 45 and he was in Soviet POW camp until 1955. Does anyone have a photo of him, and knows where he died? Any other info about Kaiv are much welcome.

2. - SS-UStuf Endel Kajar DoB 17.1.1919 in Reval, KIA 6.12.1944 Served in SS-Frw.Gr.Rgt.46 before that he attended the SS-JS Tölz to become an Officer. If any one knows more about him and have a photo I would appriciate it a lot.

Very strange KIA date for a 20. ED officer because in December 1944 20. ED was in Neuhammer training camp and was not engaged in battles.
Do You know where he was killed?

Unfortunately not, the info is from the old and incomplete Führerliste by NARA and Moore. I have searched Volksbund etc with out success. Maybe he died because of earlier wounds.

If to believe Geni.com, Endel Kajar is buried on Tallinn Liiva cemetery. Date of burrial 10.12.1944. Tallinn was allready taken by Soviets at that time.

its reported in his personal file (NARA):
Kajar was MIA in Sep./Oct. 1944, with report of 09.11.44 from the 20. division.
